rim size?

I'm looking into putting 33 x 12.5 15r on my Bronco. Will they fit on my stock 15x8 rim. If not what size do I need.

They will FIT on an 8" rim, but every tire manufacturer I've ever seen says 8.5" to 10" is the recommended width for a 12.50" tire. It is possible you could have problems with warranty issues if you have tire problems and they are not on recommended size rims. Besides, they look much better on 10" rims anyway.

I agree, 10" is the way to go on 12.50's.

no reason in buying new wheels when they work just fine on a 15x7 or 8

I had 33x12.5s on 10" rims on my 78 until I got my 35s. My 79 had the stock steel rims that measured about 6 1/2" between the beads. I took the stock sized tires off and mounted the 33x12.5s on those rims.

They look kinda funny and do rub the radius arms at full turn with the plow up, but they hold air and handle ok. I don't think I'd take it on the highway, though.
