I have a 94 w/ 2.3L 4Cyl. The oil light has been coming on and off for a couple of months now and I can't seem to get it to stay off!
If I start the motor and the light comes on, I can drive it around the block...shut if off and wait a sec, turn it back on and the light will stay off till the next time I park for more than a few minutes.
Even though the oil is full to the top the light comes on. Where is the sensor that is responsible for turning the warning light on? Is it the one that is mounted on the Drivers-Side of the oil pan? Can that sensor be changed? Mine doesn't even look like it is changable?!
The sensor in the pan is for the oil level and I think you have to drop the pan to replace it. The pressure sensor will be screwed into the block someplace, not familar with the 4 banger setup.
