This forum has been very helpful for me also. I have to say that my experience with the problem was very frustrating, but my experience with the service department and management there has been totally awesome. It sure takes the frustration away when you have people who are willing to help all they can. I buy a new truck every 2 years, so I'll sure keep buying my trucks there! Treat the people there with kindness and thoughtfullness and they will treat you well. We can vent in the forum, right? :-)
If you guys are paranoid of voided warrantys go to SEMA.org and look up the Magnuson-Moss warranty act. It was passed about 1975 because dealers were denying warranty on things they shouldn't and they do to this day. If they say anything about not warranting something tell them to put it in writing. Some dealers still tell you if they don't do the mods, your warranty is void. This is absolutely illegal and they can be fined for it.
You modify to look different from the other sheep but everyone seems to be doing the same kind of modifications...lifts, chrome wheels, big tires, etc. If you don't modify you will actually be more different than everyone else who modifies, right?
2004fx4wheeler,
that was good, your probally right
But i would bet even though many on this site modify, the numbers are still very low total, I never see any modified trucks around, just plain trucks, not that anything is wrong with that though..LOL
