oil pressure sender

when i put in the old style oil pressure sender, instead of the switch, what do i do with th resistor you talk about. do you just cut it out or do you have to replace it with a wire.

Replace it with a wire. From what I understand, you can leave the resistor in place and just solder a wire between the two terminals.

It works good on my 93. took me just under an hour to pull the dash, bypass the resistor (added a wire), and close up the dash.
10 minutes (I'm 48 and don't fit like I did at 20.) or less to change the sender.
