I was in Advanced Auto parts lookin 4 a K&N for my F-250 and this lady next to me is givin the clerk a hard time. i dont say much but i shoot her a look of chill out. any way, the next clerk asks me what i need and i tell him the air filter for my 84. the lady that was givin the other clerk a hard time goes to me, "You know what they say about Fords right? FounD on the side of the road dead." (that was the exact quote) i looked at her and said, "First lady its Found on Roadside Dead, and second off theres another saying... First on Race Day. Get it right." she then looked at me paid for her stuff, and just walked outta the store. i watched her, (and she was no prize... looked like she lived in a trailer park) get in her beat up sundance and leave fairly quickly.
All goes to show... 1. stand up for your local auto parts store and 2. its fun proving women wrong!
First off - there seems to be a giant group of know nothing loud mouths all over the place - the little they know the louder they seem to be. Auto parts stores seem to be full of these week end "Know it all "warriors. I try not to encourage them - if possible.
Second - I know trailer parks have a bad reputation - but I can truly say I know some very nice and intelligent people who have lived in trailer parks.
good point man, but this lady was a "poster child" for the trailer park thing. i though about it, and i do know a few really good people that are down to earth that lie there, but this woman was a poster child for em.
