Paint my B2 Pics soon!!!
I got a 87 ford bronco 2 I been beating and mudding cars up for a long time now and ASE certified i get into alittle custom painting like ghost flames,racing stripes, kandys,pearls and such. Well i wanted to redo my b2 the paint was peeling really bad so i started out removing the fenders hood doors bumpers etc. I striped the body with 80 grit DA then sand blasted in the door jams to remove paint then i did my body work I also made a crowl hood out of a old chevy truck hood. i then etich primerd the bare metal let dry then used PPG 2k primer 2 coats let dry then blocked the hole truck out with 400 grit dry i like to dry sand. later that i blew and wiped the truck really good every crack and were dust likes to lay. I then waxed grease removed the hole truck and tacked off. I used PPG DBC base clear coat. I used a tri coat system. first i put a candy apple red the new candy apple red is a tri system alone i put 3 coats of candy let dry tacked then i put a 2 coats of candy apple green and then one coat gold pearl. let dry tacked off then put 2 coats of clear. It turned good just now i can't hit the mud like i use too hhahah.
