Good News....

I just got my Blackstone Labs oil report back and I have NO oil related problems!!! I guess praying and drinking heavily is working to keep the "6.0L PSD Devil" away from my truck.

Just need to ask the dealer why my viscosity is below stated levels (good thing I change on or before required intervals).

BLACKSTONE LABS COMMENTS:

Note the viscosity, which was about 10 point lower than we typically find for a 15W/40.

Universal averages show typical wear metals for an oil from this type of engine after about 4.400 miles run on the oil.

Your oil was in use 5,000 miles, and we found all wear from the engine at around average levels and in the correct balance to show normal mechanical parts inside.

Air and oil filtration looks okay. We found no moisture or anti-freeze in this oil. Nice wearing Power Stroke.

The really good news is, no diesel fuel found.

I have changed oil and filter (at dealer with 15W-40) at 3,000 / 6,000 12,300 / 17,000 miles. I have 12/12/03 flash and have the C24 injectors (with no problems... yet). Just did my first Blackstone report with my last oil change at 17,000 miles.

Just wanted to share my good news (so far).

Hope others are having just as good of luck with C24 injectors.

Yes, they are C94 injectors (old and possibly defective).

C95's are the new and improved.
