I have a 2000 CC Superduty, V-10 auto. 4800 miles on the truck. My question is, How high should me idle be after my truck is warmed up? Right now when you put the truck in park after it is warm, it idles at like 900 RPM. Isn't this a little high?
My V-10 idles at roughly the same RPM - Problem I have noticed is an oscillation that hums and can be felt thru the brake peddle.
Noticed it when I picked up the truck new. 10600 miles later, same (intermittent) thing. Not related to the AC compressor cycling. Would like to blame the exhaust system, but can't hear it outside the truck. Also thought it might be something with the ABS system. Any ideas??????
