Auto door locks?

Does anyone know if you can program the auto door locks to unlock all four doors when you shut down.

Has anyone noticed that when you get above 5 mph the locks automatically lock? But when you stop they don't automatically unlock but by pulling the drivers or passengers door handle they will unlock, but not in the back seat you have to unlock from the front unlock button or pull up the lock button. Just seems kinda strange they don't unlock automatically. I noticed you can disable this autolock feature, maybe i'll do that.

Mine does the same thing with the locking when you take off. What really bothers me is that my 11 year old son has randomly played with the keypad and opened the door twice within one minute. I wish I did not have this keypad.

Pg.78 owners manual. I had the remote start from the dealer installed and now it unlocks all the doors when I shut off the key which is much better to me. Yes I am in Palmdale!

Autolock (if equipped)
This feature automatically locks all vehicle doors when the following
conditions are met:
• the ignition is in the ON position,
• all doors are closed,
• the brake is pressed before reaching 8 km/h (5 mph) and
• the vehicle is traveling more than 8 km/h (5 mph).
Relock
The autolock feature repeats when the following conditions are met:
• the vehicle’s speed is less than 8 km/h (5 mph), and
• any door is opened then closed while the ignition is in the RUN
position, and
• the brake is pressed before reaching 8 km/h (5 mph), and
• the vehicle is traveling more than 8 km/h (5 mph).
Deactivating/activating the autolock feature
Before following the procedure, make sure that the ignition is OFF and
all vehicle doors are closed.
You must complete steps 1-7 within 30 seconds or the procedure will
have to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, you must
wait 30 seconds.
1. Turn the ignition key to ON.
2. Press the power door unlock control three times.
3. Turn the ignition key from ON to OFF.
4. Press the power door unlock control three times.
5. Turn the ignition back to ON. The horn will chirp.
6. Press the unlock control, then press the lock control. The horn will
chirp once if autolock was deactivated or twice (one short and one long
chirp) if autolock was activated. Note: Pressing the power door
lock/unlock control again will toggle between activating and deactivating
the autolock feature.
7. Turn the ignition to OFF. The horn will chirp once to confirm the
procedure is complete.

There is also a procedure in the F250 Owner Manual for turning off the seat belt dinger.

Auto Door Lock

Is this autolock feature part of a remote keyless entry? If so, is this a factory installation, or can it be installed afterwards? I had inquired with my dealer about purchasing the remote keyless entry as an accessory, and specifically asked if it would lock the doors automatically. I was told no, and that Ford stopped installing that option as too many people were locking their keys inside.
