Idleing too fast
I am working on my too-fast-idle problem on my 92 f150 5.0L E4OD. I have been idling about 1500 rpm for many months now and i am trying to cure it. I put in a new TPS and calabrated it like the manuel says, it didn't fix the problem. I still idle at about 1400 rpm. I looked into the Idle air control today. I am getting 11.95 vdc on the pcm side of the wire connector and 9.3 Ohms on the sensor side. This seems to be out of spec acorrding to Haynes. I expected 10.5 vdc and 11 ohms. I cleaned the valve with carb cleaner. it seemed free but i cleaned it anyway. the plunger would not come out but moved free. I am checking my Intake air temp sensor right now. hot i have 3.5K ohms, am waiting for it to cool, but seems ok right now. I had 4.6 vdc on the connector.
can you guys give me any help on what to check or change next? Is the IAC shot??? Can i do anything to it to fix it??? I unplugged it and it will idle at 1100 as soon as i start it, but after a few minutes it goes to 1400 and stays there.
thanks guys for your help.

I checked for a leak earlier and didn't find anything. No change in idle. I just found the PCV valve last night, I will do a very through leak check this weekend. Do my parameters for the IAC sound ok????
hope the valve is still ok.
thanks
