2003 E350 7.3L PSD Tachometer Install
I would appreciate any info. on adding a tachometer to a 2003 E350 7.3L PSD, E4OD, 4.10, SRW. Factory dash does not include a tach. which I miss ( '91 F350 7.3L Diesel). I have the Ford CD and wiring book and it doesn't show a tach. sensor lead. Saw a couple of posts about AutoMeter after market add-on; any others??

As you have figured out, the tach needs an ignition source which the diesel doesn't have. If they show no optional tach in your wiring diagrams, I don't know where you are going to get a suitable signal.
