How do I change the O2 sensor?

With that truck, you ndo the electrical connector, unscrew it from the y-pipe (I think it's a 7/8" wrench, don't remember), screw the new one in and reconnect the connector.

Anything to get the sensor out easier? And anything that you need to do to ensure a proper connection at the plug thing?

I just replaced the O2 sensor on my '95 4.9L, and expected the worst, so I sprayed it down with WD-40 the night before, and let it soak in. The next day, all it took was one swift yank on the wrench, and out it came. Simple as that.

The connector for mine was tucked up by the oil pan, but required no special care disconnecting or reconnecting.
