engine swap
I got a 84 ford f150 with a 351m in it and I need more power will a 460 bolt up to th trans that is in the truck or do i need a diffrent trans I am not shur what trans I have But the truck is four wheel drive

A 460 will bolt to a 351M tranny.. you'll have to get motor pads and mounts (from L&L or a F-250), and probably new accessories. However, if you have an '84 truck, you more than likely have a 351W, not M. The last year for the modified in a truck was 82, at the latest '83. A 460 will not bolt to a Windsor (W) tranny.
