Speaker Dimensions
I have a 90 ranger with extended cab an manual windows and would like to replace the stock speakers with some aftermarket ones. Before I start tearing into the door panels and rear speaker enclosures to measure the dimensions, can anyone tell me what the maximum depth for both the door and the rear speaker placements and confirm that the door speaker size is 6-1/2"? Thanks

Crutchfield lists your door speakers as 6 1/2", and the rears as 6x8". I know the door speaker holes in my 2000 were ahead of where the window came down, so I had no obstruction whatsoever back there. If your rears are in the doors, then I have no idea how deep those are. Best way to figure that out would be to just rip her apart and measure before buying any speakers...
