Question trans problem

I have a 93 F350 with a 7.5 and E40D trans. I was backing a trailer up a slight inclen when the truck started stalling out in reverse. The od light on thye shifter started to flash. Would go forward just fine. Checked the fluid and it was ok. After letting it sit for a while it worked just fine for a while then started to do the same thing in reverse. Been a few days and it is working ok just wondering what may be going on. feels like maybe the converter is locking up?

wondering if your oil was hot, do you have 4 wheel drive, if so try using. Read post on 3-15 on transmission venting oil could be similar problem. Presume you didn't loose any oil?

when the OD light flashes that means there is a major problem. Have the codes pulled to see what exactly is wrong, trannys are so common from working right to acting up again and back and forth, this is because it senses a slip or some screwed up in the transmission, then once it senses it fine it will operate normal, but do have the codes checked!
