Another Dual Exhaust Question

Yea so one more question. I got a price from a local dealer for a flowmaster 40 w/ dual outs and the chrome tips and all. They were saying it runs about $350. I was wandering if from who has had this done before does this seem reasonable or should i find another place.
Thanks

Sounds reasonable to me,especially if they supply the materials.

BTW,you're gonna love that 40 Series on your 4.0L .

Good luck.

Hey thanks. Thats defiantly what i wanted to hear. Both that it is reasonable and it will sound great on my 4.0L. Originally we were goin to get a family friend to do it, but his new company doesnt have a bender so he cant do it for me which would have saved a lot. But o well, at least i will be getting good sound for that price. And this place does bend there own pipes which is always a plus.
Thanks

I would check and see if the shop has a mandrel pipe bender though. This is always a plus,as mandrel bent pipes flow better than traditional bends.Like I said,$350 doesn't sound bad at all.Dad's 2000 4.0L has a dual-outlet 40 Series on it and it sounds nothing less than amazing to me.It really sounds good coming through these Tennessee hills towing a Beetle .

Good luck.

That sounds very expensive unless they are using stainless steel. Here, you can get aluminized pipes, Flowmaster muffler, and duals out the back with chrome tips for $250 or less any day of the week. Maybe you should get a few more estimates.
