Shifting Problems
Can someone please help. I have a 97 Ford 150 with a manual transmisson. Lately the only way to shift is to step on the gas then it pop's into the gear i was trying to put it in. Feels like it wont go into any gear at times unless stepping on the gas. Anyone know where i should start ??

I'd drain and fill the tranny first. It sounds like you might be low on fluid.
When you are shifting into gear, does the stick move properly and the transmission just isnt catching, or do you have trouble getting the shifter into position??

Tried pushing the stick hard, almost broke the dang thing off, will air in the line really make it shift like that, the dealer wouldn't listen to the problem i was having just said bring it in and for $1600 they would put a new clutch in and it would solve everything

Sure they will put a new clutch in......and then bleed the slave cylinder. You might try relating the following article to your truck:
