high rpms at idle
Hi all. Started up my truck the other day and took off for work. Came to a stop at an intersection and noticed it took more pressure on the brake to stop it..felt like the truck wanted to keep going. I took it out of drive and the rpms ran up to 2500rpms. Usaully it idles below 1000rpms. Ran like this for 2 days. Took it to the dealer and as soon as I started it up, it ran fine and still is. Anyone ever have this problem before?

This was the exact same problem we has with my truck, turned out to be a fault with the computer. We left it at the dealer's, they hooked up the computer so they could monitor it and left it sit running for two days, it finally revved and they replaced the computer and haven't had the problem since. This happened back in 1993 so I don't remember many details.
