using manual hubs

Just got done replacing my hubs on my 93 exp. Is is safe to engage the transfer case while driving, or is it best to come to a complete stop???

Complete stop first time engaging. Then you may shift in and out at will.

when you have manual hubs. If you have them in the lock position, you can engage the 4x4 anytime as long as the rear tires are not spinning. I usually let off the gas, shift my pickemup into 4x4, and let the lockers and the 38's do the rest.
