95 explorer wiring
I am having a problem with installing an aftermarket deck in my explorer. Just bought the truck so i figured that this operation would only take me a couple hours but it has been kicking my ***. I bought aftermarket wiring harness to plug into the stock harnesses and the harness with the power, ground, memory etc work well. The deck turns on no problem and works with an external speaker(the deck is not the problem). But with the harness with the speaker wire in it is hooked up there is no sound. Does any one know why there is another ground wire on this harness? The only other thing i can think is that because there are rear audio controls mabey this is my problem?? Someone please help

Its been a few years but it was a dark blue wire no stripe. I think all of them had a factory amp. When I hooked up the first one on my former 91 I spent 3 hours trying to figure it out then took it to Circuit City and asked them what I could be doing wrong and they showed me the amp(blue) wire. My 95 was the same.
