Does relocating the TFI Module work?

Great idea about getting a new TFI and using that for the relocation. Although I was sort of looking forward to my first trip to a junk yard : )

Good call on the TFI. Any Bronco/F-150 with a 302/351 around the same year will have the same TFI and wire harness. Just make sure whoever goes to the yard looks close at the TFI or better yet take it with and make sure it plugs in to the harness you're scavanging.

If you get the harness from the junk yard, it shouldn't take too long. It all depends on how good you are at doing some wiring. You may want to consider soldering the wires instead of using crimps. Also remember to make sure nothing can ground out.
