Busted blinker swich
Hey guys I got a 66 f100 and my blinkers stay on the lever in the cab is all floppy like sumptin is busted in there just wondering what the procedure is for fixin this problem thanks for any replys

If you pull the steering wheel off you will see that theres a plastic piece that regulates the blinkers. Sounds to me like its busted. Mine wasnt aligned properly so my blinkers stayed on in one position but clicked off when they should in the other direction.

As NewMex said, need to remove wheel to determine problem. With any luck, not likely, may be loose retaining screw. If you find the plastic cam is broken, believe there are few Ford parts catalogs that sell them separately. Autokrafter sells the cam for about $10. Have replaced the entire unit, and seems replacing the cam would be little simpler.
Anyhow, thought would add my $.02. Am sure other members will be able to provide additional info, and or suggestions.
