From the Driver's or passingers door the electric locks
Will work only once or twice locking or unlocking,
Than the next time it will only pop the lock up have way
than push it again and it like it runs out of power.

Door locks - The Three Muskateers
OK this is obviosly a major problem, because I am having the same problem. I put billet door locks buttons (the part that goes up and down) in my truck and now the the power door locks seem to have a mind of their own. sometimes they work but alot of the time they do not. Does anyone know how I can fix this or what is wrong?

Had same problem on 1999 F150. They worked when they wanted to. Replaced actuators and it works like a champ. Not sure why they both gave up at same time but they did. Got a good deal on mine at www.ford-parts.com. Much cheaper that locally. Took less than 48 hours to get from time I ordered.
