I just bought me a 2000 Superduty 4x4 and I was wondering if anybody knew what the largest tires I could put on the stock rims and stock suspension. I would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot
285/75/16 will fit no problem. 315/75/16 on stock rims(16x7) will rub on the leafs of the passenger side, on a 16x10 the 315's will rub on the inner fender wells. If you hit some really rough road / big bumps you'll be hitting all over the place.
There is a fitment guide on natltire.com that will give you a list of the tire sizes you can use from stock - 10"s of lift. Based on my experiences above it is accurate.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I thought blocks up front were a big no no?! Arn't they known for spiting out when you are going around corners? Are you aware of this? Do you know something I don't?
