TP Sensor

I had my TP Sensor go bad on me in Jan. I replaced it and it ran fine, until now. The truck is starting to do the same thing, it will idle at 1000-1200 for a while then drop back down. Some days it does and some it doesn't. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Abel

Did you check to make sure the TPS is still screwed in tight? On mine it's a tough one to get to and if it's loose after replacement that could do it.

I'm adding another return spring to my throttle body when I get off work in a few hours because it doesn't always return fully when I let off of the gas. Start by looking at that. Otherwise, make sure that the TPS voltage is reading LESS than 1.0V at rest. I like to go a bit lower, like around 0.97, just in case it doesn't come to rest at the same position.
