signal lights
I am an electrical lamer. Any help would be appreciated
Daniel
The second thing I would check is the ground strap between the engine, and the frame (or firewall). Often these things rot and cause gremlins. Remember the alternator grounds to the engine, and this ground has to carry over to the truck.
Also check the connections to the multi-function switch in the steering column. The column is wrapped in plastic, a top half and a bottom half, there are three phillips screws that take the two apart, do so then you can see on the left side of the column the several connectors that go into the multi-function switch (turn signal, flashers, wiper control, high beam select). Make sure they are tight.
If that doesn't solve the problem, let us know and we can easily make more suggestions.
More than likely this is a bad ground, or a loose connection, or a worn out flasher. First, replace the flasher, its a cheap item anyway.
