Anyone with a black vehicle knows one thing; to keep it looking the best you will be washing it every week perhaps more often. With an F-250 this becomes a real challenge since you need a ladder to reach the cabin top and the windshield. It also takes a while to dry.
I just tried the new Autodry system form Mr.Clean and I cna tell you it works wonderfully. I didn't have any spots on the windshield and just a few from the water. Perhaps I didn't give it a good enough rinse. The best thng is that it cut the time to wash and dry the truck in half. It took about 35 minutes last week vs. the 1hour plus it used to take. I'm hoooked.
Glad you posted this I was looking at that in the store this weekend and was wondering about it. Glad someone else was the ginny pig. Thanks for sharing.
i went out and bought it today after reading this thread. i did not think it would work wee because are water is very hard. i was quite suprised to see how well it worked, no spots at all. the directions say the filter is good for about 3 washes, i wonder how much they are? the place i bought mine did not have the extra filters, the soap i $5.00 a bottle
I bought one and was a little leary because the included filter said three rinses. But then I noticed that the refill filters are rated at ten rinses. I plan on washing my car and truck normally (cheap soap) and then just rinsing with the autodry. Then I don't have to pay for their soap which is pretty expensive. I already have a big jug of soap.
I got 2 washes out of the 3 wash filter and i have real hard water. I would also go back over the whole truck at least 3 times with the filter water just to make sure i got everything real good. Troxel- their soap has polymers in it which repel water and that helps it dry quicker and also makes rain water bead up.
I actually bought some, I am usually not very respecting to some of the claims made about products.
My toy hauler is white and large, in the NM sun at 89 degrees I washed it and absolutely no spots. Only problem I did not use their applicator, just dumped some in a bucket and went to work. The issue if you use to much it does have a polymer base and will make the driveway a bit slippery when it get wet next time. That is if you use tooooo much. Not that it rains in NM very often……….GOOD Stuff.
I have been thinking about getting one also but was leary about the claims. After reading what everyone has to say I think I might go and get it. Should would save some money.
