Difference in 360's?

Difference in 360's?
This may seem like a silly question or it may not, but I don't know much about different cars. I see other cars have 360's or 390's in them but I don't know how, if, they're different and if they have the same power. Are all these engines interchangeable?

hey janimal there are other posts that adress this question... i myself needed that info ... ratsmoker has answered it very nicely.... the block of the 360 and 390 are the same ..... there are 3 differences i cant rememebr off hand.. he has the differences listed on his FAQ section

For the most part, the car line motors generally put out more HP than the trucks, due to CR differences. There were no cars offered with the 360 (unless you take into consideration another brand), just the trucks as that replaced the 352 in 1968.
