Bolt pattern

I am planning to buy a dana 50 and Sterling 10.25 out a 99 F350. I am plan on swapping them into my 91 F250. I have heard that the bolt pattern of the dana 50 and Sterling 10.25 are differnent then a Dana 60 and Sterling 10.25 out of an 91 F350, is this true

yes, they are a metric pattern, and are hub centric.

also that 50 uses junk unit bearings, and ball joints.

The '91 will be 8x6.5" bolt pattern. Don't remember the metric size of the new ones. You will need new wheels to go with the new axles. Your '91 F250 shouln't have a Dana 60 monobeam unless someone swapped it in, should be a Dana 50 TTB.

I believe the newer bolt pattern is 8 on 170mm.
