would a true dual exhaust coming from a split dynomax header with dual 50 series flowmaster mufflers, and a 2.5 inch pipe be good. let me know what yall think.

That would be alright, I would go with the 40 series if I was going that route though.

In front of the wheels? On both sides or on the pass. only, otherwise where are you planning on crossing over and isn't there a gas tank to be a little worried about getting hot? I have the same setup, but only single exhaust on the pass. side. I'd like to run headers and run straight 2in. pipes to keep it snappy all the way to the back axle then cross over w/ one pipe following the frame then maybe put an "H" in to combine some of the noise (plus it makes for an excellent hanger) and then continue back at a 45 degree angle to the corners of the bumper with 4in tips.

SMiller:
How are those trac-loks? I'm looking to put in back a locker once I lift my truck and redo the gearing.

'85 F-150 4x4 Reg. Long bed 300 Inline w\4-speed 3.55s with trac-lok front + rear, opened up air cleaner, crack more fuel, advanced timing 3in. strait pipe without converters or muffler, 285 BFG mud-terrians, taller\firmer front springs, overloads in rear

It's almost like we were seperated at birth, except I don't have lockers, but I do have 31's. Straight pipe is the only way to go. How does your's sound and what size are you running?
