Well my speedo been acting up and my abs light is coming on when my speed gets up around 70. I replaced my VSS and it still is messed up. I tried the Haynes manual trick of jumping the port to get my abs codes. The book says that there will be fast flashes of the ABS code followed by a long flash (signaling end of code). Well when I did it, I would have a fast flash, pause of about 3 seconds, then another single flash, pause.....etc. I'm not sure what to make of it.(I know its a fast flash because its the same speed as the code flashs more than once down the line) Well if anybody knows this is what I got when I put the ignition to one (number of flashes / p= pause for 3 secs): 1 P 1 P 3 P 7 P 4 P 1 P 4 P 2 P 7 P 7 -> done. Hopefully this will help me solve my not working abs when I get to 70mph problem. thanks.
The way it should go is: (flash flash pause flash flash long pause flash flash pause flash flash flash). for codes of 22 and 23. It looks like you have codes
11-Electronic Controller (ebcm)
37-Rear axle wheel sensor erratic output
41- Left front wheel sensor mismatched output
42- Right front wheel sensor mismatched output
77-Rear axle wheel sensor erratic output (why they have 2 codes for this I don't know)
