OK, either the search feature is disabled or I am the 1st one to ask this. Does anyone have mud flaps on their Expy that were made specifically for the Expedition? My local parts stores seem to have "fit-all" flaps but I want something that is designed for my truck. Online/catalog sellers like JC Whitney have flaps but I hate buying something that may or may not fit. Hopefully someone here has some and remembers where they got them.
Look for Huskie Liners--they have form fitting guards for various vehicles. I just got a set of guards for my dually and they are a perfect fit with good directions, couldn't be happier. They have a "factory appearance".
Ford does make fitted flaps for the expy. I checked with the dealer, and the part number was the same as the ones I bought off e-bay. I got them for half the dealer price on ebay.
I am looking into this myself, and you have two options:
Ford Factory flaps (dealer, online discount dealers, ebay) for my 2001 they only come in black
Husky - only in black
I know the husky can be painted, and i suspect the fords can be painted...for both you will need to ID the trim level and whether you have wheel moldings or not...2003/2004 come in colors on the factory flaps
right now i see 25-29 a set (front and rear needed) when i find a better price, i will buy....let us know what you decide.
Ford has flaps that custom fit whether you have boards or not. They also have factory molded colored flaps that match the Arizona Beige trim or black if you don't have trim. There about $36 a pair.
I had the Ford molded EB splash guards front and rear on my 03EB which Ford replaced with a 04EB (long story, see A/C problems posts). I really liked them, they kept the truck a lot cleaner. I just ordered the new flaps for my 04 and will post pics as soon as I get them. I also ordered the rear hatch air deflector and will post pics of it as well.
