WHERE IS THE PCV VALVE LOCATED ON A 1996 FORD EXPLORER 5.0 V8 WITH ALL WHEEL DRIVE

It's at the rear of the engine closer to the driver's side. Not easy to get to. Cobra had a good photo posted a while ago to show the location, might try searching for it.

On mine it's at the rear end of the intake manifold about in the middle. It's a real booger to get at.

Howdy....replaced my PCV a while back in a 98 4.0 sohc expl.

It might be similar to your engine...not sure.
