Please Help!!!
Hi everybody I have been having some really annoying problems with my 99 ranger 4x4 3.0 4 spd. auto trans. It takes a second to shift from first to second gear, its almost like a slip but it still gains speed. The really weird part though is it only does it half the time and it doesn't matter how much gas I give it either. The other problems are occasional shudder into overdrive. And this one just started sometimes when I put it in drive it won't be engaged, but my linkage looks like it's just about perfect. That problem started right after I did the intake mod on my truck. The last and final problem is it will go from 3500 rpm to 4000 rpm to 3500 rpm then back up steadily if I give it a lot of gas on the highway. I have already tried a MAF clean, air filter, trans flush/fill, TB clean, and TPS ohm check. Please help.....
