Thumbs down spark plug time

so i have decided it is time to replace my spark plugs. I have 112,000mi on the truck. I bought the Bosch Platnum plugs to try them out over the Motorcrafts. I dont know if this is the best but we will give them a shot considering they are not horribly expensive if they are not good. So i began installation of the plugs today. It's not a fun job but I got two done before the sun went down all the way.

I plan to do the rest tomorrow. Love the forum on replacing these, its a great help. My question is now that I have had my SES light on and i need to pull the code for it. I have assumed that the cluster display pannel will display codes if i go into test mode. When i get there the dtCnone comes up under the menu. The light is on but how can it display no codes? Am i missing something? Is there another way to pull codes on an ODB-II computer without buying an expensive tester?

Thanks,
Jeff

You can go to Autozone or Pep Boys or Advance. Some of those places will pull the codes for free, but remember.

You get what you pay for.

Go with the Motocraft plugs. It went over 100,000 miles with them. It wont go that far with anything else. Why take the chance.
