Start up noise
Been reading this forum for a while but haven't seen this one addressed.
I have a 99SD SC4x4 V-10 4.30 Auto
When I start up the rig, sometimes I get a loud bang from what sounds like the engine compartment. Think this is a back-fire situation but not sure.
Next, from about 1500 to 1600 rpm I get a slight buzz, from the enging(?) which stops at about 1700.
Next if I go over a speed bump or any bump at a slow speed, my front-end sounds like its falling apart.
Haven't had a chance to take to the shop yet (work two jobs), but plan to after the holidays.
