I see that Wally World is selling a "Full Synthetic" (per their label), under their private label. It was $2.37 a qt. Any one know who bottles it for them?
I do not know for certain, but I have read here that Pennzoil/Quaker State produces their Super Tech dino oil. Probably, safe to assume they bottle Wal-Mart's synthetic oil, however it is pure speculation on my part. ED

Lot's of debate on that issue. Latest info is that QS does not bottle WW dino oil. Dino is bottled by Warren Oil.
ah, i say use the ST synthitic for that price. all oils have to go through extensive testing and have to be aproved by the petriluim institue to be on the market it may not be the best but synthic is synthic and they make it affordable. so go with it.
However, you will see that Synthetics contain patents. Thats for the shape of the molecular chains and rings that make up the "oil".
As a result of this patenting, no two synthetics are the same, and there are rarely even the same polymers that make up the "oils".
As far as that goes, you should stay with the same synthetic all the time, rather than being able to just buy whats on sale with dino, cause no matter what anyone says, its all the same.
the only diffrence between the syns is the additive pacage, some have a better additive pacage than others. i know i would never pay the outrageus price of mobil 1. you get basically the same syn oil with the ST. if you pay mobil 1 prices than you talking about a 30 dollar oil change. its just not worth it to pay for there advertising.
