garage too low
Not sure if this is the correct forum... My truck just squeezes into my garage. I have maybe 2" of clearance at the top pulling in. I'd like to lift my truck eventually but I want to still park inside. Otherwise I have to park under a tree or powerline. Any ideas on the cost of having someone raise my garage opening 4" or so or is this just a bad idea?

Swing up door or rollup? If you have the old style swingup door, you'll get an easy 4" with a rollup.
Don't feel bad - I have to air down the Jeep tires to 5 psi to get it in the garage - WITH a rollup!

More clearance
I had the same problem with my door with a low over head beam. The best way to fix it is with a new garage door opener from Wayne Dalton it is called an ( i drive ) and a new track that that allows the door to raise up higher. This new garage opener mounts to the front wall of the garage so you dont have the rail like the old style openers I got about 7" more clearance now for my 2004 EB 4x4 Expedition. Good luck
