Just wondering how long it took some of ya'll to get the build dates from your dealer. My order was placed by dealer on Feb 15. Dealer doesn't have a build date as of yet. I would also like to know a good place to get some ranch hand style bumpers and grill guard(nothing really wild but good). I am located in Central Texas. Ordered from Covert Ford in Austin; anyone out there ordered anything from them lately? They promised me they had the allocation to get it in, but you never know.
It took about 2 weeks to get my build date and my vin from my dealer. I'm in Missouri and the dealer I bought from has a priority rating of 10. It took a total of 6 weeks from when I ordered till I took delivery. I understand that I might have been lucky as I have read that some people have waited 3-6 months to get theirs. Scott
I also had a 10 priority on my V10 4x4 CC SWB and it was almost 8 weeks to the day for delivery. Put some gentle pressure on your dealer to see if they can throw the priority on it. My dealer told the zone rep that I was (I wasn't) looking at the new Chevy Heavy Duty to get my wait shortened.
I ordered my SD from a large dealer and I guess it had a priority of 10 i dunno, anyways they said the truck would be in in no more than 6 weeks. i called on the 5th week and my truck had just been unloaded and the dealer was about to call, guess i got lucky
My dealer called me with the start build date 3 days after I ordered the truck. I brought the truck home 5 weeks and 6 days after ordering it. F250SD, V10, 3.73, Lariat, longbed, supercab and I can't stop loving it.
