Predator/warranty
YES... It can.. If they know you have it installed.. So can/will alot of other mods..
If you "roast" or damage your engine, or have a failure with the Predator (read Predator's disclaimer as well) performance tune installed, they (Ford) very well "could" refuse any warranty repairs related to the modification. The Predator is a "great tool" for building power, and some extra MPG as well if used properly.. May require some other add on's.. Gauges, exhaust, intake, ect.. Depending on HP mode selected (45/65/100) "At least" a EGT gauge to monitor exhaust temps SO NOT to create any problems.. It DOES have a return to stock tune mode, AND SHOULD be used when your truck is in for work..No need to advertise!! Power gain is pretty impresive, and the tuner is easy to use and install...

Thanks for the info.
I guess what i am looking for is something just like this. That would increase my MPG and towing performance and be able to return to stock when it goes in for service.
Looks like the tow program boosts the torque and the others boost the around town MPGs

You can tow in the 65HP range as well.. The performance feels like stock UNTIL you bend your foot some!! then it comes on, and pulls strong!! One of the draw backs (if you concider it one) is that the computer has to re-learn after the programming/tune.. The shifts tend to be a bit hard, and shift points may be off some until it settles in.. Not bad.. Up to 5 warm up/driving cycles.. Then the shifts are "tight" and nice.. And you can modify the tune as well..Speed limiter/shifts ect.. Haven't seen any mileage improvement yet, cause it to fun feeling the pull!! So should you need to return to stock tune, you may want to plan ahead a few days for service ect.. I commute in mine, and if I can show a little restraint it should pay for itself in the first year, to year and a half...
