I tried to get a build sheet on my 96 F250, but no luck. Here is what Ford said:
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a buildsheet for your
vehicle, due to the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) decoding process
required to determine particular components, it is not possible for us
to provide a complete list of options and specifications for your F-250.
However, if there are specific options or if there is specific
information you are seeking to confirm, we may be able to assist you
further. If this is the case, please re-contact us with your request
and we will attempt to determine this information for you on a
case-by-case basis.
I've read posts from others saying they got build sheets with no problem. How'd you do it?
I sent Ford everything I could find including the VIN #, codes on the door sticker and anything else I could find (or wanted to know) and in a few weeks I received it in the mail with everything I wanted. Perhaps you made a typo on the VIN?

What did you ask for? How much did it cost you?
I've been thinking about getting a build sheet for a 1966 Fairlane GT/A that I have, but have no idea how to go about doing it.
I ordered one from the ford.CA website. I haven't gotten a reponse back yet but it has only been 2 weeks. But I am Canadian so I don't know if Americans can do it. There is a thread about this in the Bronco forum I think. Just do a search on build sheet and you should find something. Good luck!
