Am I crazy

I have a 1988 E-150 conversion van that has 302 and auto tranny. The van is in really good shape. I have the chance to buy a 1988 f-250 4x4 diesel rolling chassis. (no body). I am thinking with a liitle work I could have a 4x4 diesel van for a little work. What kind of problems am I going to encounter. Will the truck motor mounts work, will the diesel fit in the engine bay, can I swap front coil springs. This would just be something a little unique. I could also use the 302 in my 1950 f-2. What are your opinions and comments. Thanks

You're certainly no more crazy than the rest of us. Just not too sure about the "a little work" part.
