Whats the largest tire I can fit on a stock 89 Ranger 4x4 ext. cab?
Will 31x10.5/15's fit?
or how about 30x9.5/15?
whats the largest with no rubbing?

Well the largest stock tire on an '89 Ranger 4x4, was P215/75R15, so you might get away with a P225/75R15 or a P225/70R15. Try to find a friend with a later model year ranger and swap tires for a trial. If they clear the front fender aprons, just driving around, add a little weight to the back end and see how much clearance you have.
