Is this a deal?

2002 F-250 SC, XL pkg, long bed, V10, 5-spped, 17k miles - $12,999. I've been looking around for 250's with the 5.4 and stumbled on to this. Seems like a lot of truck for the money. I know mileage is going to suck. How much worse than the 5.4? 5-speed is no big deal to me since that's what I drive now in my current truck (95 F-150, 4.9, M5OD) I need more towing capability for my boat and my sons scout troop tailer. Thanks in advance.

to tell you the truth.....V10 and the V8 are really close in fuel milage.....the 10 cylinders use more fuel....but the V8 is a bit under powered for the truck and has to work harder that the V10. I asume for the price it is 2WD?

I haven't seen it in person, but the pictures I've seen look great and the dealer says it's like new. I plan on doing a carfax on it. I'm going to go drive it tommorow during lunch. Just seems like it's too good to be true so I'm leary, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe it's because it's just an XL with V10/ manual tranny?
