I've hit 30k miles and I'm shopping around for the best price. Anyone done it lately? How much was it? Any hidden charges (fluids not included, ect.)? I'm having the following done:
1. oil/filter change
2. tranny service (fluid and filter)
3. cooling system flush
4. alignment check
I think that runs about $200 at the local dealer. Anything else I should get done?
I'd have them clean and coat the battery terminals, by now those little clampy things are gettin corroded. Also I think the 30K calls for air filter change, thats all i can think of there's probly more.
I got a new battery few months ago and I always keep the terminals clean. I have an Airraid reusable air filter and I just cleaned it. Also changed the fuel filter at 25k. Anything else?
Have you had your brakes checked lately? It's a good idea to check them and service the caliper slides.
How about rotating the tires?
Lube the hinges, lock, latches and weatherstrips?
I can take care of the tire rotation and lube hinges myself. But I will get the brakes checked. It's not a 4X4, so I don't have to worry about the transfer case. Any ideas about pricing?
