4x4 not working was intermident
hi . i have a 1995 4.0 v6 with 4 wheel on dash (switch type) was working fine , new manual hubs. then working how it felt (on -off) on-,turn off light stays lit, turn off truck or disconect bat, then restart truck, light then off, then turn back on, heard light clicking from behind dash,switch then to 4 low , transfer case engaged (clunk heard- normal) turn it off, light stays on 4 wheel high,,,,,,
is there a way to test the switch? outside contacts are for light, that i know , two middle contacts show no continuity at all, or should there be none , but should there be resistence? and if so how much... what elese can i check,,, all help and any would be beyound great... dont mind the spelling, in a hurry to get herr fixed!
