I have a 400 that I think is '81. Not sure
Was wondering if anybody here could tell me about a catalouge, one or many, where I can by performance parts for my 400
There is PAW (Performance Auto Warehouse, www.pawengineparts.com), Summit Racing (www.summitracing.com), and JEGS (www.jegs.com). These are the largest. They sell parts for a lot of engines, not just the 400. In fact performance parts for a 400 are scarce, when compared to what is available for a Windsor, or C#$%%^. With a little carefull planning and purchasing, you can get a lot of performance from a 400 for low dollars.
There are no catalogs specifically for the 335 series engines. If you are looking for a specific part, this directory is a great place to start. http://www.performancemarket.com/
Thanks for all the ideas on webpages, I´ve found quite a few 400 performance products. A question I have now is: How can I see what kind of heads, manifold, etc. I have? The web pages have all sorts of options that Im not really sure about. EGR for exemple.
Any ideas how I can make this serch more understandable.
Hope you get what Im trying to say here. Looks like complete rambling
Jegs and summit have a good deal of 400 parts but you'll have to look very carefully. plus the 351C being more popular has a little more parts and it's in the same family as the 400/351m so you can use those parts also.

Try reading a few articles first and I think that would help.
(www.projectbronco.com) and see the tech section. And
(http://home.earthlink.net/~bubbaf250/). These would help you get an initial handle on where to start and what you may want to do.
