To be honest, I don't know which way to go. Both tires are excellent tires that seems to last and last. But then again, the Revos will save you in the long run because of the way the tread is designed. The tread always seems to be good even when the start to go bald. So I'd go with the Revos.

I would have to say to go with the Michelins because I think they are much better all around. THe REVOs I have on my truck are great in the rain, but off the road or in the snow they are less than stellar. The miles I have gotten out of my REVOs has been good and the ride not too bad. But the Michelins have just as good of a ride do better off the road and are quiter.

I think they are worth a little bit more.

I've run both and they are both good tires. I would have to disagree with the comments regarding Revo's performance off-road and in the snow. LTX's are street tires plain and simple. The Revo's at least have some off road capability. LTX's have none to speak of. They are marginal in snow on road and spin instantly in wet conditions off road. Both are nice quiet asphalt tires with the Revo's getting my nod for better wet traction and lower cost.

The only unknown variable is wear. I don't think anyone has had a set of Revo's long enough to know how long they will last. The Michelins get great mileage.

I have to vote against the Michelins based on I have had four different Michelins tires that have failed on me. Not due to abuse or neglect. These were on my street only vehicles so no racing or off-road use were put on these tires. Just out and out failures. A sidewall bulge, a sidewall cracked, a tread bulge, and one blowout. None of these tires had a lot of miles on them or were that old. Granted none of these were the model we are voting on, but it tends to make you leery of a brand.

I have the Revo's and love them. I have 23K miles on them now and are about half gone. It is a great tire if you can find them. They seem to be a back order a lot.
