K... it's probably just a winter thing. She does it less if I park her in the sun and as the temperature warms up so...
Eitehr way. Turn the key chug a lug lug lug remmm. Ok it's on... Squeaky chug chug chug squeak squeak chug chug. Step on gas it almost stalls not specifically in any gear just press the gas and it's like "SCREW YOU I'M GOING HOME" *blink blink*I figured it was my fuel pump or maybe the filter but once she's warm (or if I'm low on fuel and go put in a freswh batch) it goes away and she's smooth like a caddy. WTF? It's just weird I mean she'll idle forever with just a minor queak at cold temperatures but you step on the gas and it's almost like it's getting less fuel than it expected. *step on gas* engine response: "shudder" "pause" "resume idle then rev up with many shuddery pauses"
What's up? or is it just a cold thing?
When's the last time you replaced your fuel filter? If it has been more than 1.5-2 years I would just replace it. It's fairly easy and cheap. Good luck
I just went through the same problem for the last month. I changed the fuel pressure regulator and problem was solved, also Im getting better gas mileage than before.
Hope this helps.
