main thrust bearing
I got an overhaul kit from international for my 99 psd, the main thrust bearing that came in the kit, p/n 1812325C92, only has an antirotational tit on the block half of the bearing set, the cap half is smooth. I had them order me another set it's the same way. I called an out of state dealer that had one in stock and had them look at their's, it's the same. All the other bearings, rods and mains, have **** on both halves. The originals had them on both halves. If this is the way the new ones are suppose to be I can't understand why. I can't buy just the thrust bearing from my local auto parts store I have to buy a whole main set for $100. If any one has seen this before or has any advice for me I sure would appreciate your input.
